When choosing to have a bespoke dog coat commissioned from The Savvy Dachshunds, there are three vital measurements we need to ensure a perfect fit;
Circumference around the dog’s neck, just below the collar.
From the nape of the neck to the base of the tail.
Circumference around the chest at the widest point.
When measuring the neck and chest, we recommend putting two fingers inside the measuring tape and using this as the final measurement. This allows movement and ensures a more comfortable fit for your dog.
We prefer measurements in inches please (we’re old-fashioned like that!)
